History
Tamisuke
Yokogawa, Doctor of Architectural Engineering, established an electric
meter research institute in Tokyo in 1915, and became the first company to
both produce and sell electric meters in Japan.
Ichiro Yokogawa and Susumu Aoki established Yokogawa Corporation in
December 1920. Today, Isao
Uchida currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and
Shuzo Kaihori as President and Chief Operating Officer.
Yokogawa Corporation of America was established in 1957.
