Yokogawa Electric Corporation (Yokogawa) is a major manufacturer and supplier of test, measurement, and control products for industrial automation and process control.  Yokogawa is the leading supplier of vortex flowmeters worldwide.  Yokogawa Corporation of America is a division of the Yokogawa Electric Corporation of Tokyo, Japan. whose sales for 2007 were US$4.2 billion, up from US$3.9 billion in 2006.  Yokogawa has over 19,000 employees worldwide, including affiliated companies inside and outside of Japan. History

Tamisuke Yokogawa, Doctor of Architectural Engineering, established an electric meter research institute in Tokyo in 1915, and became the first company to both produce and sell electric meters in Japan.  Ichiro Yokogawa and Susumu Aoki established Yokogawa Corporation in December 1920.  Today, Isao Uchida currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Shuzo Kaihori as President and Chief Operating Officer.  Yokogawa Corporation of America was established in 1957.
